She Plays: “We got to sit and chat with Maddie Purcell, player and co-owner in the Premier Ultimate League! Maddie and Chloë Rowse formed Portland Rising as part of a 4-team expansion to the PUL for the 2020 season.
While COVID and 2020 have delayed the team's debut, they have still been hard at work preparing for next year and are already growing a loyal, engaged fanbase. Rising is the first women's professional sports team in Maine - the first of many we hope!
