Portland Rising is redefining what a pro athlete looks like here in Maine.

At Rising, we honor the whole person. We are committed. We hold an attitude of possibility. We elevate ourselves and lift up those around us. And we are willing to be uncomfortable as we strive for improvement.

Rising’s history

2020 - Portland Rising joined the Premier Ultimate League (PUL) in 2020. The team’s first season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
2021 - Rising’s second inaugural season was held on August 2021 when the team hosted the PUL 2021 Championship Series International Tournament. The Rising Podcast, a series featuring conversations with team leaders about what it means to RISE, was also produced in 2021 and is available wherever you listen (Spotify, Anchor, Google Podcasts, Breaker).
2022 - In 2022, Rising finally played their first full season, ending with an impressive record of 5-1. View games and results here.
