Hannah Baranes

A 5’6” hybrid player from D.C., Baranes is an outstanding defender who brings equal parts grit and joy to the game. Baranes is there for the defense, but when her line has to play O, she attacks creative spaces with her throws and her legs. 

This will be Hannah’s 8th season competing with Boston Slow in the club division. Equally powerful on the sideline, she is an assistant coach for the U-24@usaultimate Mixed National Team and will be co-coaching the Maine youth club team this summer! Her coaching resume includes the Harvard Quasar Ultimate Team, UMass Amherst mixed, and Amherst girls' varsity Ultimate teams. Off the field, Hannah is a postdoctoral researcher working on coastal flooding projections for Maine.
