One of the purest throwers in the league, the 5’7” handler employs a wide range of effective looks to read and exploit opposing defensive sets. An alum of The Northwest School and product of the Seattle youth ultimate scene, Gillett brings 12 years of experience at just 23 years of age.

Gillett was a 4-year captain for Bates College Coldfront, earned a silver medal with the U20 National Team in 2016, and won the 2019 Donovan Award, a peer-voted honor for the top Division III player in skill, athleticism, spirit, and leadership. In Maine, she's also represented club Sunken Circus.

"One thing I did this spring to channel my inner Rising was exploring new places by bike. I’ve never been a serious biker and thus sometimes forget how good it feels to move fast and pedal hard.

"It’s been a great way to be outside safely-- I especially love watching the leaves begin to bud on the trees (a welcome reassurance of change and growth). I am grateful for the time I have these days to tune into the living world around me, and am looking forward to biking through greener days ahead!"
