A 5’8” cutter with big hucks, Ode is known for their creative field vision, dauntless work ethic, and ability to push the pace offensively.
Originally from Boise, ID, Ode won two collegiate championships with Oregon Fugue, a Silver Medal with Team USA at 2015 U-23 Worlds, and played with the 2016 All Star Ultimate Tour, while representing Boston Brute Squad (2019 Club Champions), Seattle Riot, and Portland Schwa at the club level.
Off the field, Ode brings deep intentionality to both the Rising leadership group and to their work as a farmer.
"2020 marks my fifth year of farming and my first without ultimate. This season I’ve found myself with a unique opportunity to dedicate myself wholly to my work.
"I believe that good, sustainable food is a human right and at The Food Project we work to get our produce into hands that are too often excluded from local agriculture supply chains. This season we have seen a huge spike in food insecurity due to COVID-19 and the associated crises and we’ve poured our energy and resources into getting our vegetables to those facing disproportionate risks.
